After trialling our incredibly popular wax melts we’ve been inundated with requests for a candle with the same scent. Hand poured in our Whitley Bay studio using the most gorgeous essential oils and eco-friendly soy wax our cosy night in for when it’s baltic outside candle is infused with cedarwood, ylang ylang and lavender. Designed to uplift and reset the senses and give you a little bit of Northern positivity.
Made using totally natural ingredients including soy wax, lashings of essential oils and features a very special wooden wick to give your room a spa feel without emitting harmful chemicals into your environment.
Why do we use soy wax in our candles?
As the name suggests, soy wax is made from the Soybean which means that it is 100% natural, 100% renewable and 100% environmentally friendly. It also burns more slowly than paraffin wax. Win win!
Why do we use essential oils in our candles?
Basically the scent! With a more natural and often subtler scent we prefer the smell of essential oils to artificially made fragrance oils and we hope you will too.
Candle care
When first using your candle, let it melt all the way across before extinguishing it. This prevents tunnelling and allows you to enjoy your candle for longer.
Don’t move your candle when burning - the jar can get hot. Plus it can dislodge your wick which no-one wants to do.
Burn for a maximum of 4 hours at a time to avoid the jar overheating.
Before relighting, always trim the cool wick.
Each candle comes with a screw top lid which helps the scent last longer and keeps the dust away.
Optional extra – have your items hand wrapped in brown paper packaging tied up with string and with their very own North East tourist tip.
All postal Packaging can be recycled except for stickers (we’re working on it). For orders placed before midday, we aim to process the same business day.Orders placed after midday will be processed the next business day.
During sale events and new collection launches, there may be a slightly longer processing time.
UK ORDERS
We send all orders via the Royal Mail, who advise that: Royal Mail 24™ – the aim is to deliver your parcels the next working day upon handover in the United Kingdom. Royal Mail 48™ – the aim is to deliver your parcels within two working days, with a small minority within 3 working days upon handover in the United Kingdom.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 postage is free on all orders over £30 and costs £3.25 for orders under this amount. Upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 postage for £4.50
Orders can also be collected from our shop selecting the click and collect option.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We send our international orders via Royal Mail’s International Tracked & Signed service. The Royal Mail give the following delivery aims for international orders: Europe delivery aim: 3-5 working days Worldwide delivery aim: 5-7 working days
European postage costs a flat rate of £9.00
Worldwide postage costs a flat rate of £15.00
You can choose between a refund or a credit note on full priced items.
- Item(s) must be returned in their original condition and packaging: unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached.
- Earrings cannot be returned due to health and safety reasons.
- Return shipping methods and associated costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Sale items can not be refunded for change of mind.
