Secret Art Sale 2024 - Mick Wooton

Mick Wootton is a printmaker, painter and maker of books. He has a studio and print facilities in Gateshead and is a member of Orbis community. 

Current projects include a 50 linoprint book and text based on "Children's Games"also a suite of large interconnecting linocuts based on the same subject. Mick has also recently returned to making etchings.

Mick Wootton studied for his MA at the RCA. He taught Fine Art in many Art colleges. He became Head of Printmaking at Northumbria University in 1997.

Mick Wootton currently works full time on his own projects. Mick has work in national and international collections.
